Police said a man and his nephew were changing the tire when an orange Honda SUV travelling northbound struck the man and continued driving. The man was pinned under the car, and he was dragged several feet away.

Chicago, IL. – A 53-year-old man of Gage Park was killed after a hit-and-run accident on Tuesday night in the West Lawn neighborhood, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident happened at around 11:12 p.m. on May 12, in the 6800-Block of South Pulaski Road.
Police said a man and his nephew were changing the tire when an orange Honda SUV travelling northbound struck the man and continued driving. The man was pinned under the car, and he was dragged several feet away.
The man was transported to Christ Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The nephew was not injured as he managed to jump out of the way in time.
