A Frankfort man driving the sedan was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated
Boone County, IN. – A man was hospitalized with serious injuries following a car accident that happened near Thorntown in Boone County on Tuesday, April 29.
According to the police, the accident happened around 11 a.m. on State Road 47 at Interstate 65.
Authorities who responded to the incident found a Toyota sedan trapped underneath a semi-truck.
The 62-year-old Frankfort man who was driving the sedan was trapped inside the car and had to be extricated before being taken to hospital for treatment.
The semi-truck driver, a 62-year-old man from Scottsburg, was treated at the scene and released.
More details about the accident were not released.
