Troopers said a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Ocklawaha woman was heading east on C.R. 484 when it hit the man who was walking north across the eastbound lanes.

Marion County, FL. – A man was killed in a pedestrian accident on Sunday night in Marion County.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at about 8:35 a.m. on February 8th on County Road 484 at SE 47th Avenue.
Troopers said a vehicle driven by a 47-year-old Ocklawaha woman was heading east on C.R. 484 when it hit the man who was walking north across the eastbound lanes.
The man was rushed to HCA Florida Ocala Hospital where he died.
The woman told troopers she couldn’t see the man walking north.
The woman, who was not hurt, stayed at the crash site.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
