Troopers said two motorcycles were riding together on the ramp to eastbound State Road 836 from southbound Florida Turnpike when one of them failed to negotiate the curve and lost control of his motorbike and crashed into the guardrail.

Florida’s Turnpike, FL. – A man was killed after a motorcycle accident on Saturday on southbound Florida Turnpike.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident happened on November 29, on eastbound State Road 836 (Dolphin Expressway.
Troopers said two motorcycles were riding together on the ramp to eastbound State Road 836 from southbound Florida Turnpike when one of them failed to negotiate the curve and lost control of his motorbike and crashed into the guardrail.
After hitting the guardrail, the motorcycle was redirected and collided with the second rider.
The male motorcyclist crashed into the guardrail and was declared dead at the crash site.
The other rider suffered minor injuries and was transported to Kendall HCA Hospital.
Authorities closed the exit ramp to give way to an on-scene investigation.
An investigation is underway.
