Police said a man was struck by a 29-year-old female driver of Portland for unknown reasons.

Portland, OR. – A man was critically injured after a hit-and-run pedestrian accident early Thursday morning in Portland, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The accident happened a while before 3:00 a.m. on May 28 at Southeast Grand Avenue and Southeast Pine Street.
Police said a man was struck by a 29-year-old female driver of Portland for unknown reasons.
The man was rushed to the hospital with critical life-threatening injuries.
The female driver left the scene and later returned. She was arrested for hit-and-run.
Police closed Southeast Grand Avenue between Southeast Pine Street and Southeast Ash Street for several hours to give way to an on-scene investigation.
An investigation is underway.
