Troopers said a black Lexus sedan and a gray GMC SUV crashed in unclear circumstances. The Lexus came to a rest facing the wrong direction while the GMC sustained rear-end damage following the accident.

Miami-Dade County, FL. – A man and two children were killed after a two-vehicle collision on Friday evening in Miami-Dade County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The deadly collision occurred on September 26, at the Quail Roost Drive (State Road 994) and Southwest 117th Avenue intersection.
Troopers said a black Lexus sedan and a gray GMC SUV crashed in unclear circumstances. The Lexus came to a rest facing the wrong direction while the GMC sustained rear-end damage following the accident.
A man and a child in the Lexus were declared dead at the crash site.
Another child who was in a gray GMC SUV was flown to HCA Florida Kendall Hospital where she died.
Troopers closed Quail Roost Drive as they worked at the scene. The lanes reopened by 11:00 p.m.
The incident remains under investigation.
