Indianapolis, IN. – 57-year-old Leander Church has been identified as the man who was killed in a bicycle accident in Indianapolis on Friday afternoon.
The fatal bicycle accident happened in the 1500 block of S. Sherman Drive at around 2:40 p.m., according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
A man was riding a bicycle in the area when he collided with a truck.
Leander was taken to a local hospital, where he later died.
The driver of the truck remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
