Fort Wayne, IN. – 39-year-old Lashieka Kapri Samuels of Flint, Michigan, was identified as a passenger killed in a traffic collision involving a tanker truck on Thursday morning in Fort Wayne.
According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, the accident happened around 7:10 a.m. August 7 in the southbound lanes of Interstate 69, between the U.S. 24 West /Jefferson Boulevard and State Road 14 West/Illinois Road interchanges.
A Ford Expedition SUV, a Ford F150 pickup truck, and a tanker truck were involved in the collision.
Samuels, a passenger in the SUV, was killed in the accident.
Six other people from the SUV were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
