Las Vegas, NV. – Two people were injured after being struck by a vehicle on Friday evening in Las Vegas.
According to local police, the accident occurred at South Las Vegas Boulevard and East Flamingo Road at around 5:30 p.m.
A Toyota Camry collided with another car while exiting a private drive. The Camry driver tried to back up to clear congestion on the sidewalk when two pedestrians tried to cross and were hit by the Toyota Camry and pinned underneath the car.
A 49-year-old pedestrian was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The other pedestrian, 32, was transported to the hospital with moderate injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
