Las Vegas, NV. – A 22-year-old man died after being struck by a car as he rode an e-scooter on Tuesday.
According to local police, the accident happened near Buchanan Boulevard and Boulder City Parkway at around 5 p.m.
An e-scooter rider was traveling southbound when he crashed into a vehicle that was leaving a parking lot and turning right.
The rider was not wearing a helmet at the time and was taken to a Las Vegas hospital where he later died.
The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
