Las Vegas, NV. – A 71-year-old moped rider is dead following a crash that occurred last month in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident occurred on South Eastern Avenue near East Maule Avenue at around 2:22 p.m. on January 24.
The man was riding a 2024 Zhejiang Senling moped northbound on Eastern Avenue when a Honda Civic that was stopped on East Sunset Road made a left turn and struck the moped.
The rider was ejected and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
On January 30, police reported that the man had succumbed to his injuries.
The Honda driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
