Las Vegas, NV. – Two people were hospitalized after being injured in a crash in Las Vegas on Monday evening.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 6:31 p.m. on West Owens Avenue, east of the intersection with A Street.
A 2006 Toyota Prius was traveling eastbound on Owens Avenue when the driver lost control while passing through the intersection and struck a concrete support pole.
The 59-year-old female driver and a passenger were taken to the University Medical Center Trauma Center for treatment of their injuries.
The passenger was treated and released, while the driver remained in life-threatening condition.
