Las Vegas, NV. – A Las Vegas officer was injured in a crash on Wednesday night in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 9:45 p.m. at Rainbow Boulevard and Endora Drive.
The officer had performed a vehicle stop for routine traffic violations and was inside the patrol vehicle when it was rear-ended by a car.
The officer suffered minor injuries and was taken to UMC for treatment.
The driver who hit the officer was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
