The 24-year-old driver of the Honda was arrested on suspicion of DUI

Las Vegas, NV. – One person died after a car crashed in a homeless encampment on Friday night near Sunset Park in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 7:20 p.m. in the area of Eastern Avenue and Warm Springs Road.
A 2007 Honda Accord traveling eastbound on Warm Spring struck the center median before veering across all eastbound lanes and into a sidewalk, where it crashed into an unhoused encampment.
One person was found deceased under the vehicle.
No one else was reported injured in the crash.
The 24-year-old driver of the Honda was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
