Both the RTC driver and the passenger sustained minor injuries

Las Vegas, NV. – Two people were injured in a collision involving an RTC bus on Thursday evening in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred around 7:50 p.m. at Blue Diamond Road and Jones Boulevard.
An eastbound RTC bus driver attempted to cross Jones Boulevard and collided with a pick-up truck that was turning southbound on Jones.
The RTC bus, which had one passenger on board, was struck on its side.
Both the RTC driver and the passenger sustained minor injuries, with the driver being hospitalized while the passenger was treated at the scene.
The pickup truck driver was cited for several violations.
Officers do not suspect impairment as a factor.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
