The Palisade and the Silverado left the road, jumped the curb, and struck two pedestrians

Las Cruces, NM. – Seven people were injured in a car accident on Wednesday evening in Las Cruces.
According to the police, the accident occurred at Lohman Avenue and Walton Boulevard at around 6 p.m.
A 56-year-old woman was driving a black Hyundai Palisade eastbound on Lohman Avenue when she veered left for unknown reasons and sideswiped a GMC Sierra and a sedan.
The Palisade continued east through the intersection and crashed into a Chevy Silverado stopped in the northbound lane.
The Palisade and the Silverado left the road, jumped the curb, and struck two pedestrians.
The two male pedestrians, aged 40 and 48, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the Palisade is believed to have suffered a medical episode before the crash. She was taken to the hospital for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
