Both men were pronounced dead on the scene
LaPorte County, IN. – Two people died in a car crash on Friday evening in Kankakee Township, LaPorte County.
According to the Laporte County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at State Road 2 and County Road 500 East at around 9 p.m.
A truck driven by a 42-year-old Florida man was traveling eastbound in the westbound travel lane of State Road 2 and collided with an oncoming vehicle driven by a 43-year-old Illinois man.
Both men were pronounced dead on the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
