The driver of the Cadillac was pronounced dead at the scene
Lake County, FL. – A 70-year-old man was killed in a car crash in Lake County on Thursday night.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the accident occurred around 8:40 p.m. on State Road 40 near Deerfly Road.
A 70-year-old man was driving a 2002 Cadillac Escalade westbound when he drifted into the opposite lane and collided head-on with a semi-truck operated by a 49-year-old Colorado man.
The driver of the Cadillac was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Colorado man was unhurt while his 25-year-old passenger suffered minor injuries.
