Lake County, FL. – Two teenagers died and four people were injured in a car crash on Saturday evening in Lake County.
According to the authorities, the accident happened on SR 33 near Groveland Farms Road at around 6 p.m.
A 16-year-old girl was driving a 2008 Toyota Scion south on SR 33 when she collided with a 2021 Lincoln Aviator operated by a 75-year-old man.
The 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Lincoln and three passengers sustained minor injuries and were taken to the hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
