Lake County, IN. – Three juveniles were killed in a car crash on Friday night in Lake County.
According to Indiana State Police, the accident happened on I-65 south of Ridge Road.
A Ford Explorer was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when it struck the rear of a Freightliner truck that was parked on the right shoulder after it experienced mechanical issues.

The 31-year-old Ford driver was taken to the hospital with injuries.
