Kokomo, IN. – A woman was injured in a pedestrian accident on Tuesday night in Kokomo.
According to a report by Kokomo Police Department, the accident happened around 8:24 p.m. in the area of Washington Street and King Street.
The 53-year-old woman from Kokomo had been crossing the road and was struck by a Chevrolet Impala driven by a Chevrolet Impala traveling north on Washington Street.
The woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital before being flown to an Indianapolis hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
