Kokomo, IN. – A man was critically injured in a collision involving a bicycle in Kokomo on Tuesday morning.
According to the Kokomo Police Department, the accident happened around 7:30 a.m. in the area of East Taylor Street and North Apperson Way.
A man was riding an electric bicycle in the area when he crashed into a parked trailer.
Officers arrived at the scene and found the Kokomo man lying on the ground with a severe head injury and was unresponsive.
The man was taken to St. Vincent Kokomo Hospital before being airlifted to Indianapolis by helicopter.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
