Kevin Lewis Killed Brinnon Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101

Brinnon, WA. – Kevin L. Lewis, 49, of Quilcene, was killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday evening in Brinnon.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 7:07 p.m. on Highway 101 at milepost 304.

Russell S. Mikeal, 59, was driving a 1985 GMC C1500 northbound on Highway 101 and was attempting a U-turn when he struck a 1998 Honda motorcycle.

Both vehicles caught on fire after the collision and became fully engulfed.

Lewis was ejected over the GMC and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.

Mikeal, a resident of Brinnon, was taken into custody on investigation of DUI and vehicular homicide.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
