Authorities said 46-year-old Juan Vasquez was attempting to cross the street, outside of a marked crosswalk, when he was struck by a car.
Phoenix, AZ – A man was killed Saturday night in a pedestrian accident in Phoenix, according to the authorities.
The deadly accident occurred on June 12 at 83rd Avenue and Camelback Road.
Authorities said 46-year-old Juan Vasquez was attempting to cross the street, outside of a marked crosswalk, when he was struck by a car.
Vasquez was taken to a local hospital where he later died.
The driver stayed at the scene and is facing DUI charges.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
