Josephine County, OR. – One person was killed, and another was injured in a car crash in Josephine County on Monday night, according to Oregon State Police.
The crash occurred on Highway 199 near milepost 9 at around 11:53 p.m. on December 15.
A southbound Ford Econoline lost control, left the roadway, and struck a utility pole.
A passenger, identified as a 50-year-old Elgin, Texas man, was pronounced dead after being transported to a local hospital.
The driver, a 27-year-old Ashland man, was taken to an area hospital with reported minor injuries.
Oregon State Police are investigating the accident.
