Lane County, OR – A man was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle accident in Lane County, according to the Oregon State Police.
The fatal accident occurred around 9:36 p.m. on August 19 on Highway 58 near milepost 48.
Police said Joseph Bowers Luker Sr., 74, of Eugene, was driving a Nissan Sentra westbound on the highway when he left the roadway, for unknown reasons, traveled down an embankment, and rolled to its side.
Luker was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details were provided.
The police are investigating the accident.
