Johnson County, IN. – A 59-year-old Morgantown resident was killed in a head-on crash on Tuesday afternoon in Johnson County.
According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of State Road 135 and County Road 500 W at around 1:57 p.m.
A white Ford F-250 driven by a 59-year-old was traveling northbound on SR 135 when it swerved left to avoid traffic and collided head-on with a southbound Ford F-550.
The driver of the F-550 was extricated after being trapped inside.
The driver of the Ford F-250 was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three people were taken to the local hospital with injuries, with one being airlifted.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
