Othello, WA – A man was killed on Saturday night in a single-vehicle accident in Othello, according to the deputies.
The fatal accident happened at about 9:12 p.m. on July 12, 2025, on W. Cunningham Road.
Deputies said 38-year-old Jesus Carlos Villa, of Royal City, was driving a passenger truck when he veered off the roadway, overcorrected, rolled across the road, and hit a utility pole. The truck came to a rest in a wheat field.
Villa was ejected from the truck and was killed in the accident. He was the sole occupant of the vehicle.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
