Deputies said Quinn was heading south on south I-39 when he crossed the northbound lanes and crashed into a ditch.
Rockford, IL. – 54-year-old Jeffrey Quinn of Green Bay has been identified as the driver killed in a car collision on Thursday morning in Rockford, according to the Winnebago County Coroner’s Office.
The accident happened on September 4, on I-39 near Mile Marker 115.
Deputies said Quinn was heading south on southbound I-39 when he crossed the northbound lanes and crashed into a ditch.
Quinn and another individual were rushed to local hospitals where Quinn succumbed to his injuries.
No other information regarding the incident was provided.
An investigation by the Illinois State Police is underway.
