Roland was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he later died.
Las Vegas, NV. – Jayvon Roland, 20, has been identified as the man who died after being struck by a car near the Las Vegas Strip last Thursday.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened near the intersection of Tropicana Avenue and Koval Lane at around 9:08 p.m.
The South Carolina man was crossing Tropicana and was hit by a 2014 Lexus IS traveling east on Tropicana.
Roland was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center, where he later died.
The driver of the Lexus remained at the scene.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
