Quincy, IL. – The Adams County Coroner’s Office has identified 39-year-old James M. Turner of Quincy as the man killed in a motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon in Quincy.

The deadly crash happened a while before 6:00 p.m. on July 13 at N. 26th Street and Locust Street.

Officials said a motorcycle crashed in the area in unclear circumstances.

Turner, the rider, was transported to Blessing Hospital ER where he was declared dead.

An investigation by the Adams County Coroner’s Office and the Quincy Police Department is ongoing.
