Jacob Birkla identified as man killed in collision at State Road 68 and County Road 250 East in Haubstadt
Gibson County, IN. – 29-year-old Jacob Birkla has been identified as the man who died in a car accident at an intersection near Haubstadt in Gibson County on Monday.
According to police, the accident happened at the intersection of State Road 68 and County Road 250 East.
The man reportedly failed to yield the right of way while driving down CR 250 E and was hit by a semi-truck.
He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The condition of the semi-truck driver was not disclosed.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
