Phoenix, AZ – Injuries were reported Wednesday morning following a two-vehicle collision in south Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The collision was reported around 7:00 a.m. on September 24 on the Loop 202 South Mountain freeway eastbound at the 24th Street exit near Ahwatukee.
DPS said two vehicles were involved in the collision.
Injuries were reported in the collision. The extent of the injuries or how many people were injured was not disclosed.
The accident closed three eastbound lanes of the Loop 202 South Mountain and the roadway was reopened around 7:30 a.m.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
