A person heading the wrong way caused a collision in the northbound lanes of SR-143.
There were parties who sustained non-life-threatening injuries in the incident.
One of the drivers tried to flee the scene after the accident but was detained.
The northbound lanes of SR-143 were shut down as authorities investigated the collision.
