Indianapolis, IN. – A woman died in a car crash on Saturday evening in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:16 p.m. at the 2200 block of Montcalm Street, south of Burdsal Parkway.
A sedan was travelling northbound on Montcalm Street when it veered off the roadway and struck a utility pole.
The adult female driver was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.
A male passenger was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
