The driver of the Toyota had to be extricated before being taken to hospital for with life-threatening injuries

Indianapolis, IN. – A 20-year-old woman was killed in a wrong-way crash on Saturday morning in Indianapolis.
According to the local police, the crash occurred on Interstate 65 just north of 61st Avenue at around 2:00 a.m.
A silver 2022 Toyota driven by a 29-year-old woman was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a 2016 Ford.
The driver of the Ford was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota had to be extricated before being taken to hospital for with life-threatening injuries.
Police believe the 29-year-old woman was impaired.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
