The officer and the driver of the Hyundai were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries

Indianapolis, IN. – An Indiana State Police trooper and a second person were injured in a two-vehicle collision on Thursday evening in Indianapolis.
According to ISP, the accident happened around 5:29 p.m. on Interstate 465 at Keystone Avenue.
The trooper entered the intersection with his police car’s emergency lights and siren fully activated and was hit by a black 2025 Hyundai Tucson traveling northbound on Keystone Avenue.
The officer and the driver of the Hyundai were both transported to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
