Indianapolis, IN. – A 64-year-old was killed in a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon in Indianapolis.

According to the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened at the intersection of U.S. 36 and County Road 525 East at around 12 p.m.

A Freightliner semi-truck was traveling eastbound on U.S. 36 when it ran a red light at the intersection and struck a northbound Chevrolet truck.

The crash impact caused the Chevrolet to strike a westbound Chrysler traveling in the left lane of U.S 36.

The 64-year-old driver of the Chevrolet was pronounced dead at the scene.

More details about the accident were not released.
