Indianapolis, IN. – One person was killed and another was injured in a hit-and-run crash on Saturday morning in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 1:47 a.m. at the intersection of Kessler Boulevard East Drive and North College Avenue.
A silver car and a red pickup truck collided at the intersection in unclear circumstances.
The driver of the red truck continued at a high rate of speed down College Avenue and struck two parked vehicles, crossed into the northbound lanes of the roadway, and hit at least two trees. The truck flipped multiple times and landed upright.
An adult male in the truck was pronounced dead at the scene.
A second person was transported to an area hospital in critical condition.
