Hammond, IN. – Two teens were injured after being struck by a vehicle on Thursday night in Hammond.
According to local police, the accident occurred at the intersection of 169th Street and Parrish Avenue at around 5:30 p.m.
The two teens, both 15, were walking north across crossing 169th Street and were struck by a westbound vehicle.
The girl was flown to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The boy was transported to the hospital, and his condition was described as stable.
