Hamilton County, IN. – One person was killed in a fiery crash early Wednesday morning in Hamilton County.
According to Indiana State Police, the accident happened around 3 a.m. in the southbound lanes of Interstate 69 near Cyntheanne Road.
An SUV was traveling southbound when it crashed into the back of a utility truck carrying welding supplies.
The collision ignited some of the tanks containing oxygen and acetylene, resulting in a fire that fully engulfed the vehicles.
The SUV driver was trapped inside the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The truck driver was transported to the hospital for evaluation.
