The fatal collision happened around 5:45 a.m. at the intersection of State Route 28 and Trinidad Hill.

The oncoming sedan was then rear-ended by a third sedan driven by a 46-year-old East Wenatchee resident.

The third driver was uninjured in the accident.

The collision closed the highway, and it was reopened around 9:15 a.m.
