A gray 2018 Ford F-150 was traveling northbound when the driver attempted to merge from the center lane into the left lane of the freeway and it was struck by a blue 2019 Chevrolet Malibu.

Clark County, IN. – The woman killed after a traffic collision on Monday evening in Sellersburg, Clark County has been identified as 70-year-old Gloria Jean Jones.
According to the Clark County Sheriff’s Department, the accident happened on Interstate 65 near mile marker 10 at around 5:30 p.m. on August 18.

The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck to overturn.
Jones, a passenger in the F-150, was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The F-150’s driver was transported to University of Louisville Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the Chevy Malibu was unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
The southbound and northbound lanes of I-65 were closed to give way to an on-scene investigation.
