Gibson County, IN. – A pedestrian was injured in a collision on Monday afternoon in Gibson County.
According to the Indiana State Police, the accident occurred on U.S. 41 just north of County Road 150 West at around 12:38 p.m.
The semi-truck was traveling southbound on U.S. 41 when it struck a pedestrian.
The pedestrian sustained critical injuries and was transported to Deaconess Midtown in Evansville.
No additional injuries were reported from the incident.
Motorists were urged to avoid the area and to find alternative routes.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
