Winnemucca, NV. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Winnemucca on September 8.
The fatal pedestrian accident occurred around 9:20 p.m. on Interstate 80 near mile marker 175, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The 21-year-old man was walking west in the left westbound travel lane when a commercial motor vehicle traveling in the same lane struck him.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
More details about the accident were not released.
