The Mitsubishi driver was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.

Tucson, AZ. – An 80-year-old woman who was injured in a two-vehicle collision earlier this month in Tucson has died, according to the police.
The collision happened on October 17 at the intersection of Valencia Road and Nogales Highway.
Police said a 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage was attempting to turn left onto northbound Nogales from eastbound Valencia on a passive green light when it was hit by a 2017 Kia Optima that was traveling westbound on Valencia.
A passenger in the Mitsubishi, an 80-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital, where she died on October 18.
The Mitsubishi driver, an 85-year-old man, was cited for failure to yield while making a left turn.
No other injuries were reported.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
