Police said the man was crossing the street midblock when a vehicle struck him
Phoenix, AZ. – A 40-year-old man was killed Thursday night after being struck by a vehicle in west Phoenix, according to the Phoenix Police Department.
The deadly accident happened around 8:00 p.m. on September 25 on 91st Avenue near Highland Avenue.
Police said the man was crossing the street midblock when a vehicle struck him.
The man was killed in the accident.
The involved driver fled the scene but later contacted police after learning about the severity of the accident. They were questioned and released.
Impairment was not a factor in the accident.
The police are investigating the accident.
