Phoenix, AZ. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Friday night in Phoenix.
According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened around 9:35 p.m. near 27th Avenue and Camelback Road.
A pickup truck was traveling southbound on 27th Avenue when it struck a pedestrian who was crossing the road.
The male pedestrian was transported to the hospital, where he later died.
The driver displayed signs of impairment and was processed for DUI and released.
