Warrick County, IN. – A schoolgirl died after being struck by a car near Newburgh in Warrick County on Tuesday evening.
According to the Warrick County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Sharon Road and SR 66.
The middle school girl was riding a bike across the intersection and was struck by a tractor-trailer.
The girl was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
Indiana State Police are assisting with the investigation.
