According to local police, the accident happened around 10:30 a.m. on eastbound Washington Avenue near Decatur Boulevard.
A semi-truck had been pulling out of a private drive when it was struck by an SUV. The SUV ended up underneath the truck.
The driver of the SUV died at the scene.
The driver of the semi-truck was taken into custody on suspicion of impairment.
